My expertise in digital content and communications spans third sector organisations primarily focused on the arts and youth sector.

As an SEO copywriter for Trinity College London, I was responsible for re-writing website copy to make it informative, engaging and accessible for potential customers, centring around their needs and interests. I collaborated with other copywriters and the Head of Marketing to ensure continuity across different website sections, including target search keywords for each page. I also optimised Headings text and added more customer-focused copy and Q&A formats to further optimise website content.

As a writer for Smiley News, I pitched positive news stories to the editor about solutions-focused journalism, new charity initiatives and brilliant CSR programmes. I conducted interviews with everyday heroes who are changing the world for the better, and sought out stories which other publications hadn't covered, in line with the seventeen United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals.

When working as the editorial communications manager for The Mix UK was responsible for the charity's editorial strategy, engaging with a diverse community of more than 9 million young people worldwide. I was also responsible for developing and planning communications campaigns in partnership with corporate sponsors and agencies. I liaised with freelance contributors to produce relevant articles and social media content in response to current affairs, and converted analytical research and insights into interesting, digestible and SEO optimised content to drive site traffic. Additionally I was responsible for collaborating with a video editor to develop a multimedia strategy and writing video scripts to ensure a creative approach when communicating with young people.
