I love the intimacy and immediacy of audio and sharing new insights with diverse audiences. I'm a skilled editor using Reaper and Adobe Audition, and am used to interviewing contributors via Riverside. When working on live radio programmes I'm familiar with Newsboss and PhoneBox software.

My upcoming narrative podcast series On the Dough explores the real-life economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic on women of all ages across the country via six episodes; Forgotten Furlough, Generation Covid, Sink or Swim, Climate Countdown, The Great Retirement and A Happy Hybrid

As an assistant producer for BBC Woman's Hour, I researched and wrote interview questions, scripts and sourced background information on topical item's relating to women's issues and concerns. I successfully pitched an item on advice for your pre-pandemic self featuring the clinical advisor for Gurls Talk and I also booked relevant guests for an item on TikTok's Feral Girl Summer trend.

When working for Times Radio as an assistant producer I worked effectively as part of multiple production teams across several prime time radio shows. I was responsible for sourcing and booking guests for live programming and generating story ideas. I wrote clear and concise radio scripts in the Times Radio style. I edited audio, podcast material and musical montages to create intelligent speech radio that is a compulsive and engaging listen.

As an audio editor for Podium.me I worked with a global educational news service to edit audio for 'The Kids are Alight' podcast, exploring current affairs from a young perspective. I conducted interviews and edited audio to form podcasts which broadcast the views of young people aged under 25 on numerous topical issues.

As a broadcast journalist for Radio Jackie I ran the news desk on weekend shifts, read hourly news bulletins and used Myriad software. I sourced local news stories, wrote scripts for broadcast and edited audio.
